Powder Chutes are an emerging rock four-piece from Wanaka, New Zealand combining riff-driven vintage grunt with snarling youthful exuberance.

They're currently on a roll, having just opened for ZZ Top, Pat Benatar, Stone Temple Pilots and The Angels in front of 16,000 people at the 2023 Gibbston Summer Concert in Queenstown. They also headlined the Friday night live stage at Burning Horse Festival, supported The Feelers on their Communicate 21st Anniversary Tour, and played with rock titans Pull Down The Sun at Christchurch’s A Rolling Stone Bar.

Following up their 2022 debut EP, Powder Chutes release their latest single ‘Moths To The Flame’ on May 5th 2023 with a video shot by Joe Murdie on location in Wanaka.

Sweet noise pollution... groove-fueled grunge... Powder Chutes are electrifying, ambitious, and hungry.
