James Hetfield and Rob Halford go viral for rocking out to Turnstile side of stage at festival

Metallica's James Hetfield and Judas Priest's Rob Halford were seen rocking out to Turnstile's set at a recent festival.

Turnstile have built themselves quite the fan base in recent years, and it appears Metallica’s James Hetfield and Judas Priest’s Rob Halford are a part of it too.

The two metal-legends have gone viral for rocking out at Turnstile’s set at the Norway Festival Tons Of Rock over the weekend.

In an awesome moment captured and shared to Turnstile’s Instagram story, Hetfield and Halford can be seen enjoying the band’s performance of ‘T.L.C. (Turnstile Love Connection) from the side of the stage. Check it out below.

Hetfield can be seen head bangin’, complete with a cowboy hat, and punching the air, while Halford looks a bit more reserved but focussing on the performance nonetheless.

The short clip has been shared online to the likes of the reddit thread r/Hardcore, and fans are loving seeing two heavy metal icons enjoying a more modern heavy band.

“Just two old dudes rocking out to Turnstile. Hope they had fun,” the fan who posted the clip wrote.

“Actually so sick to see some of the most iconic dudes in heavy music still appreciating the next generation,” another chimed in.

“So awesome! Imagine growing up listening to Metallica or Judas Priest and then they end up side stage watching YOUR band,” a third wrote.

Metallica and Judas Priest also performed at the festival, as well as Tool, ZZ Top, and way more.
