This unreal Spice Girls cover in the style of System of a down ‘shouldn't work, but does'

Even SOAD's Shavo Odadjian had his say on this one.

System of a Down and the Spice Girls are about as different as you can get, but two blokes decided to give merging the two a red hot crack.

Anthony Vincent’s Instagram page is loaded with his ‘in the style of…’ videos where he mimics artists taking on songs that we never thought possible.

His latest is a collab with fellow cover artist Mac Glocky, taking on the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ in that System style we all know and love.

“This should be cursed 😂,” Vincent wrote preparing fans for the madness.

The two blokes kick into the track after a quick word of encouragement from SOAD’s bass guitarist Shavo Odadjian.

“You guys are crazy for doing this, but I wanna hear it right now,” he said.

The clip’s blown up, hitting 10.3 million views in just 48 hours.

And for good reason. Those harmonies and hard vocals deserve the utmost respect as they rip through the song like it was bloody made for metal.

Fans agree, with one writing: “Another absolute banger 🔥Holy shit - save some talent for the rest of us, will ya?!?”

“Proof that every song can be improved by System of a Downing it.🤘,” said another.

A third wrote: “I'm mad this was so good 😅 It shouldn't work but it does!”

“I will never be satisfied listening to the original version EVER again,” added a fourth.

Shavo Odadjian himself chucked a few laughing emojis in the comments - we’re taking that as his stamp of approval.

It’s not the first time Anthony has System of a Down-ed a famous track. Back in April, he gave Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ a crack.

One many would fear being ruined, but fans backed with one calling it “cruelly good”.

What do we reckon? Did this bloke just make us want to add ‘Wannabe’ to the playlist?
